Welcome to my world! The only thing I love more than hunting and fishing, is talking about hunting and fishing. My love for the outdoors was born in 1973 on the business end of a cane pole and has grown into a mind numbing obsession in pursuit of all God's creatures that inhabit the southeastern United States. Predominantly a white-tailed deer bowhunter in the fall, I live for Spring and the thunderous gobbles that fill the air on a crisp, clear mid-March morning! The eastern wild turkey is one of the most challenging animals I've had the pleasure to hunt. I'm also an avid largemouth and redbreast sunfisherman. My homewaters encompass the Ogeechee river basin and surrounding farm ponds. I am a member of the Beaverdam Hunt Club in Burke County, Georgia and also hunt Angell Farm in Jenkins County. I am proud to be affiliated with the Ries brothers and hope to provide a refreshing insight into the southern outdoors experience.
